Heating, Cold and Chilled Water Pipe Systems (PP, PP-R)

As an alternative to traditional steel and copper pipes the reinforced Polypropylene (PP-R) and Polypropylene (PP) is a plastic pipe system used for the transportation of hot and cold water services mainly for internal and above ground applications.
Available in a size range from 16mm - 160mm, operating at a wide temperature range (0 - 90 degrees) and with excellent corrosion resistant properties has many benefits versus copper and steel.
ESHL have installed many of these pipe systems, fabricating the manifolds and specialist fittings at our fabrication facility in Retford.

Project: Hospital (Northern England)
Application: Domestic Hot Water.
Operating Design Parameters: Operating Temperature: 80^oC, Operating Pressure: 4 Bar.
Pipe Material & Sizes: 125mm OD (PP-R)

Contract Scope:
Design, Supply, Fabricate, Install and Test new pipe system including pipe support structures as required. The pipe system was installed using a combination of Mechanical, Socket , butt and Electrofusion Welding techniques.
