ESHL Pipework Systems
Power Generation / Cooling Water Systems (PE, PP, ABS, PVDF)
for medium or low temperature cooling.
Polyethylene (PE) is the ideal pipe material to be used for medium to low temperature cooling of the oil lube and generators situated within a Coal Fired Power Station. ESHL specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of these pipe systems.
Polypropylene (PP) and PVDF are ideal materials for the chemical dosing and cooling of aggressive and hazardous materials in this environment. Again ESHL specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of these pipe systems.
Within a Power Station there are many possible applications for the use of PE and other “plastic” pipe materials. One of the primary uses is for the Conveying of Medium to Low Temperature Water necessary throughout the plant for various forms of cooling, particularly for generators and bearings.
More obvious applications include Potable Water Mains, Fire Mains, Gas Mains, and various Slurries.
Other materials including PP, PVDF, UPVC and ABS may all have their uses to meet various site requirements displacing traditional materials such as steel in applications such as Water Treatment Plants and Dosing Systems.
ESHL specialise in the Design, Supply, Fabrication and Installation of these pipe systems throughout the Power Generation Industry.
