Polyethylene (PE) is the preferred material option for the transportation of Gas, Fire, Clean and Dirty Water.
Manufactured in PE100 High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) and rated up to 16 bar working pressure in sizes from 20mm to 1600mm. ESHL has for many years been at the forefront of supply, fabrication and most notably installation and testing of these pipe systems. |
Project: Various HMP Sites throughout the UK.
Application: Gas, Potable Water, Fire and Rain Water.
Pipe Material: PE80 SDR17.6 (Gas) PE100 SDR17 (Water)
Pipe Sizes: 25mm up to and including 400mm.
Contract Scope:
Supply, Install and Test services to new Prison Extension House Blocks throughout the UK.
Includes the soundness testing and purging of Gas Mains, and the hydrostatic testing and chlorination of Potable Water Mains.
Project: Beckton – Thames Gateway Water Treatment Works.
Application: Process and Waste Water.
Pipe Material: PE100 SDR33, 26, 17.
Pipe Sizes: 180mm up to and including 1200mm.
Contract Scope:
Supply, Install and Test both gravity and pressure pipelines for various systems and processes throughout the newly constructed de-salinisation plant. Pipelines were generally pre- fabricated at ground level prior to being lifted and placed into pre-excavated trenches using a combination of craneage and telehandlers.
